Park Hill History & Overview

Park Hill is a small neighborhood in Denver, CO. The community got divided into three quadrants: South Park Hill, North Park Hill, and Northeast Park Hill. For a little backstory on how the neighborhood came to be, in 1887, Baron Alois Von Winchler founded Park Hill and developed the area on 32 acres. It wasn’t until 1900 that the first home got sold in this neighborhood, and it quickly grew with immigrants traveling from England, Denmark, Germany, the Netherland, and Italy.

Since then, the neighborhood has 30,839 residents, and some notable people grew up here like: Chauncey Billups and Pam Grier.
